Whole Foods Market - WF think customer will steal thier food order from POS at Foggy bottom, DC

1.8
Details
Order burger from POS but no option provided to pay from card. Then gather other grocery items and went to get the burger I order. They ask me paid receipt, I told them i will pay together with other grocery items, but they won't give me burger till i pay. To pay grocery, line was so huge it takes more than half hour standing on the line. If they think people won't pay for the hot food order from POS then give option to pay at POS. So, i never paid for burger i order and didn't went to get burger. So they just lost $11. I feel like they are telling indirectly to customer, you are going to steal thier food, order from POS.

And you know of all of this how ? There's no mention of personal involvement with the vendor you so freely publicly slam. Therefore, your post is hearsay and not admissible.

Whole Foods Market - Very Underwhelmed

Details
On 7/7 I shopped at Whole Foods. In addition to groceries bought a turkey sandwich for lunch. I asked for less meat - 4 oz is the prepackaged portion - an obscene amount for a single sandwich in my opinion. The server unceremoniously trashed the extra meat. Really WF??? Thought you were aware of the food waste issue. I could have taken the extra home. And the bread was stale, badly sliced, with hunks of tomato that made the entire sandwich fall apart when trying to eat it. Totally careless and totally disappointing $11 sandwich. The next day I discover the Cranberry Walnut bread I bought is actually an olive loaf. WTF WF, you are fast losing me as a customer.

Yes I kind of agree. After the scoop up first big change to WF in this area was installation of "watering holes" and big screen tv catering to the jons.

At one they even put in a sushi bar run by swishy dude. The prices have dipped to compete with nearby stores. Like veggies are reasonably priced. But the clientele all tend to have this snob attitude.

Its just a food store! Groupies love WF and the tourists rush to WF as a "familiar landmark." So much for originality. Oh I almost forgot their 365 bread tastes awful. At Foggy Bottom their bread is stacked from frozen onto the rack and the bread bags are WET.

I had noticed moldy bread several times at this store too. And although the produce mgr did agree the 365 bread bags were all stacked up and WET they probably didnt do anything about it since it would require "extra time." Their 365 hamburger buns too salty.

We had a horrible experience with some shopper there who thought she should have both sides of the isles for shopping. We were there shopping next to a man who worked in the store who happen to be loading shelves with food during this time when some angry woman came barreling down the same lane we were in shopping which she proceeded to tell us to move aside that there happen to be two lanes, which at that time there was not two lanes only one for the reason a WF guy working there was loading shelves with food, and there was no place for us to move too a that moment, so this crazy whacked out woman starts griping and telling us to move out of her way and then in a much lower tone proceeds to tell us to get F - ed, but with the real 4 letter word starting with " F ".

Than some other maniac working there come along with a big broom and gets right behind us sweeping at our heals. Ok enough! we could no longer shop and decided to leave. I suppose the fiasco of this strange shopping event saved us at least 2 1/2 hundred dollars ( Which we always normally spend there) but this time we instead got the heck out of their crazy store.

What a horrifying experience to say the least.

I have always liked WF , but lately it seems as to be going down hill. Some of the people who work there and shop there have NO MANNERS, cough on produce and sample bagged food with their dirty filthy hands ( GROASE ) It seems to us no longer to be a very healthy environment to shop in, nor a good store for healthy living.

Whole Foods is sadly in a downward spiral. I was previously willing to pay the higher prices because of the superior quality of the food. Unfortunately, quality is no longer available. Last week, I purchased Chicken Korma from the hot food bar. It was thin and...

I went to the store about 10am, it was NOT busy at all. The lady working in the bakery/pizza saw me, but wouldn't come over to me until I finally said, "excuse me, do work in pizza?" to which she said, "Yes, I'll BE THERE in a minute" she should've said, "when I feel...

Waited 10 minutes at the deli counter in evergreen park Whole Foods. Not busy at all.

One person serving and so slow. Three people hanging out not doing anything.

Walked away without my deli meats. Really bad customer service.

agreed. had been loyal since i found them in '04.

well, ...no more... significantly cut back shopping there over the last year.... bad product, understocked shelves, bad fish, employees no longer there....it's actually pretty sad. was such a 'go to' for so long and always felt good about being there...

worth the "whole paycheck" effect. sadly, what's become of it isn't even worth a drop in the bucket.

jeff bezos...you've single handedly ruined the best grocery store we had.... not a fan of you....

Three days ago, I called Whole Foods' national order number (844-936-8255) and ordered both an 18 pound turkey and a 1 pound Gardein Stuffed Veggie Turkey Roast. We are having 15 people over for Thanksgiving in three days and two of them are vegan; the Gardein Roast is...
