I thought I was alone until I encountered a few others, since then I've been warning my friends to watch out for him and sharing my experience on social media groups.

This man accused me of intention to steal while I was still shopping. He was so attacking and off base that I asked for security involvement and they assured me that there was not any problem.

I asked for his name and he told me that he won't give it to me. I let the incident go in spite of it being very upsetting.

Each time he saw me in the store after he would linger or peer down an aisle I was in. ( if he had a legitimate concern he would have security follow on camera).

Recently, he had a second encounter with me where he called me a thief and said he wonders what merchandise I have hidden. I asked him to give me his supervisors name, he refused. I finally learned his first name from a name tag.

I was so offended I was on the *** of tears. I told him to either bring security to search me or to leave me alone. He wouldn't do either, rather stood behind me until someone else got behind me online.

I approached security. The officer said he had heard nothing of anything of concern happening in the store and added "that man must have something against you because that's not standard practice"

I have reached out to the regional office, but I am also considering legal action.

Has anyone had similar experiences?

Tell everyone you know about this bad experience, and continue to make it as widely known as possible. Stores increasingly don't seem to care about customers at all; they really don't seem to care if customers are treated badly.

Tell your experience on every consumer complaint site you can find, and make it as widely known as possible. Write a complaint to Whole Foods corporate office (they probably won't do anything but issue a standard, boilerplate response, but at least you'll know you tried).
