Whole Foods Market - DON'T BUY CLOTHING OR ANYTHING IN THE BEAUTY DEPARTMENT!!

First of all, I love Whole Foods. I shop at the one in El Segundo at least once a week. HOWEVER, the one in Redondo is completely the worst. I went in to exchange a 2 piece pajamas for a smaller size. I asked a short little guy with a red hat about the exchange and he told me that the Whole Foods policy was that no exchanges for anything in that department. I asked, even if I just want to exchange one CLOTHING item (which I showed him) for another size? He bluntly told me no. I asked for a manager and he said he was the manager. I then walked around to shop. Then I saw the same clothing in different sizes. So when I went to check out with my food, I asked the clerk at the front and she wasn't really sure but that's what she thought. THEN THE CLERK WHO WAS STOCKING THE SHELVES, SPOKE UP AND SAID, MAYBE WE SHOULD GET THE MANAGER KAREN. WHAT? The little guy is not the manager? Then why was he so sure? Then Karen comes and says, no problem in exchanging the clothing. WTF? Does anyone at this store know what is going on? This store is clueless in so many ways. I will not shop here any more and in fact, I may not shop at any more Whole Foods.

agreed. had been loyal since i found them in '04.

well, ...no more... significantly cut back shopping there over the last year.... bad product, understocked shelves, bad fish, employees no longer there....it's actually pretty sad. was such a 'go to' for so long and always felt good about being there...

worth the "whole paycheck" effect. sadly, what's become of it isn't even worth a drop in the bucket.

jeff bezos...you've single handedly ruined the best grocery store we had.... not a fan of you....

On 1/9/18 for the 2nd time I asked for 2 lbs of bacon. For the 2nd time they gave me sliightly less than 2 lbs (1.95 lb) thereby charging me an extra $1.00 per lb. Randy, no sensible person is going to consider your poor review helpful or useful. In fact, I'd bet that most readers would think, "What an idiot." Who picks up Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving?

No one, that's who! I order dinner from WFM every year and have done for years now. Always pick up on either Tuesday or Wednesday and have never had anything but a wonderful holiday.

Ever heard that the early bird gets the worm? Obviously its meaning escapes you.

2018 November 11th traveled 25 miles to enjoy the tasting festivities....three people hanging around the serving table trying to look interested...one employer was cutting some cheese trying to spread it on cracker she had about 10 made another man stood in front of *** mall fruit bowl not serving them up in little paper cups....third employee just kept changing signs around the table but no samples...Meanwhile it is after 12:00 and no sign of competence or politeness.or food......the older women just kept saying in a somewhat rude tone that they were not ready .........Well guess what...I m not ready to return to Whole Foods again for that kind of treatment...Oh did I tell you,,,the 2 other employees I tried to speak to, did not speak English........

Whole Foods Market - Online ordering for thanksgiving

When in the store, a man gave me a brochure to order on line. He suggested that ordering online would assure that I get the 2 pies I want for Thanksgiving. That web site is terrible. I. want to pick the pies up at the store. Finally I called the local store, as requested online, and was told they would call me back. Apparently Whole Foods is not ready to accept online orders for Thanksgiving. Just tell us you can't do it and we will be happier! How many more words and forms do I have to fill out...this is crazy! Its enough to send me some place else for these pies! Have I typed 100 words yet???????????????????

Whole Foods Market - The Worst Customer Service

I tried to reload a gift card online with my credit card and had the worst experience a person could have. Not only did the website claim my order had been placed but also failed to email me until an hour later telling me that I need to contact them in order to complete the order. Mind you this is after I had been to the store and failed to checkout since my gift card was in fact not reloaded. I proceeded to contact the customer service line and had my first five calls send me to an answering machine. On the sixth call I finally got a representative. They asked for me to confirm all my info which I did and asked if they could call the phone number I provided at checkout. I hang up and wait for the phone call which I received a few minutes later only to have "on hold" music and no representative then It hangs up. This happened two more times before I decided to call them back and figure out what was going on. This time I had to call four times before getting someone on the phone and went through all the same information verifying. After sitting on hold I was asked if they could contact my bank which I said they could. I was told they would call me back and let me know. After thirty minutes nobody had contacted me so I called back, this time three phone calls to get through and they decide they could verify my information and denied my gift card reload. I wasted two hours calling them over and over just trying to get a gift card reloaded so I could get groceries. Not only were they terrible at there job but they had no legitimate reason to deny my order and left me hanging late at night with no groceries. I will absolutely never shop with Whole Foods ever again. I have literally never had a worse customer service experience and would recommend not bothering with ever trying to purchase or use any gift card or anything customer service related at all costs.

Whole Foods Market - Lousy salads

Months ago WF abandoned the pre-made salads which were economical and delicious. They now have these "Go Fresh" salads. My wife had a Santa Fe Style Wrap which made her ill within three hours. This is not the first time they have removed popular items for more expensive lesser quality ones. Maybe Amazon can change the corporate culture to respond to what customers like instead of what corporate likes. Not holding my breath though.

To Whole Foods Newport / Amazon Market . Here's my concern or issue with the store here's a company that was just bought for billions of dollars. I understand that whole Foods Market is changing with how Amazon is re-branding to bring the consumer into the Local Whole Foods Store Market by making a more solid impact of the New ideas that are being implemented inside if the company . This message is for the Amazon and Whole Foods Market VP , CEO And also the upper management for Newport Beach Whole Foods .. I feel that maybe you need to "look deeper into the issues and concerns" of your store. I am one of many that have been coming to your store for mini years like a lot of people. Your store is a great outlet for people to do business and to come and enjoy themselves and bring clients in the set down and have meetings. It's also a great place to bring your family and sit down and have healthy food and have a positive impact when you're there that when you leave you also have the same positive impact. For the concerns that I am about to express I think whomever reads this really need to heed the concerns and issues and really dig deep and look into the concerns. Instead of blowing them off or brushing them under the carpet. I am a concerned customer and business owner . I think that if anybody complains or sends a message of concern I think that a lot of concerns and issues that are given our swept under the table or they are tossed to the side by management in the store. Being a business owner myself and understanding the thriving business and the mergers is that the other businesses need to try to thrive in this industry together in orange county you need to have a very powerful team working together also a team that also works well together . A team that understands how two work together and the team that you have can you bring a stronger Ethic to implement gain into the store and also in the environment of our town. Myself and few other of my business associates that I build relationships with we come to whole foods to have personal meetings and weekly meetings and have most of all the business lunches at your New Port Whole Foods market store . A lot of us spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year and allot of our business is your income. To express half of our clients and friends may not like your company sometimes. We still have our associate meetings or a personal meeting or even a family get together can open up doors for a great place to eat or meet . A place were people actually like to come to eat your Whole Foods Amazon "fresh food experience " and also love the atmosphere that opens the door for more locals to come into your store to enjoy the New Whole Foods / Amazon Fresh experience . My personal interactions with your store have been concerning and also how the inner actions are handled . Now before I go on I need to be "very clear" that if this keeps up I will make sure that people know how dysfunctional the store really is. That even though the store has a manager that handles the store and takes care of the stores concerns . I also Understand that the store has other assistant managers that also handle underneath that person and you have supervisors that work underneath team member Management . I feel the first concern that needs to be looked at is Management . And instead of slapping someone's hand or writing someone up misconduct and asking what's the issue with concerns are . ? "ask yourself as a Manager Why am I reading this on the Internet". " Because" Maybe you should actually do a "unannounced" personal walk through the store and see with your own eyes and understand that sometimes things don't look as real as you may seem they are or top-notch on how things are handled when they are very much miss-handled. Here are concerns what I myself have seen and also others have seen and I have heard stories from other customers , friends and clients that shop at whole foods Market in Newport beach. Supervisors! The Store has two female supervisor is that handle the kitchen, pizza, sandwich, taco bar . Both of these supervisors are very "sloppy supervisors" I've seen them miss handle employees verbally in front of customers . I have seen both of them disrespect customers without thinking about customer service that should be the first concern as a Manager or Supervisor . I have also heard from other Business associates and friends that have seen both supervisors with the same concerning issues. The other female supervisor I've heard that she miss-treats employees badly . In one instance My CFO ordered a plate of sandwiches for a lunch meeting and it had a time preference that the order had to be picked up for meeting. She got there and talk to a supervisor that was on duty named her badge said "Christina" she said that she was a very disheveled supervisor. When she asked for her order the supervisor said to give her a few seconds . Within few minutes the Supervisor came out with the order My CFO asked if she could get some box or big enough bags or some sort of help to take the food over across the street so she wouldn't drop the food. The supervisor for Whole Foods Christina pointed over at the counter clerk and said they have bags there for the food . Instead of actually getting a bag for the "Business paying customer" and helping her and making sure that the deli trays were taken care of Will call this "customer service" she just handed the big trays over to my CFO and let her walk over to the counter and take care of these two great big large plastic trays with no help! "We spent last years alone 9,800 for food at wholefoods last year I feel that is enough Money to write this concerning letter" If whole Foods Market Newport !! really wants to "impress the people and create a positive customer relations" and have "customer satisfaction" and focus on "customer service". This message is to upper Management "this should be a priority and the number one rule in this business is to "satisfy" and "take care of the customer". Instead of having "lazy" and "sloppy" employees that are very non-interactive and Management or supervisors with bad customer service" who have no positive motivation. That my views shouldn't have the right to be working for this company . Once again let me be very stern about this message to Wholefoods Management who reads this or maybe someone in upper corporate management might understand how bad this is . As a Customer how I'm handling this and explaining as many issues that are in this one of many Whole foods stores like Newport Beach . My feelings are things are to relaxed at this store and when they know that upper Corporate Management is coming in the store. That they are on their toes and trying to look perfect for the upper management . So it looks like they are running a perfect store that generates major income for the company. But behind the scenes of the store I feel the management is hiding what is real and very"radical inappropriate and has unprofessional supervisors" .That would rather push away the customer then give positive personal interactive customer service and make sure that the store has happy customers and that is the truth. Employees over the counter Bad conduct. I have seen this more than enough times.That I've seen employees miss handling and miss treating other employees being very verbally abusive. To be very clear Nothing is has been done about it at all. This concern has very overly been looked over and tossed to the side from what I have learned from other customers. This is something that the company should look into and should be taken seriously by upper whole foods and Amazon fresh Management. Now this message once again is for upper management or even higher management if noticed and taken seriously instead of blown off . I don't feel that a customer should have to deal with inappropriate behavior or has to contact a supervisor or manager and express how employees treating another employees or miss inappropriate conduct by a employee or management at the store. There has been a few times around lunchtime that myself and some of my co-workers and business partners have stood in line waiting to order sandwiches or tacos . This is for one of many instances! There is an older lady that handles the Taqueria bar she is an older lady kind of Hispanic her name tag says " Epy" . " "Not sure if I am spelling this correctly" This woman is very short with her words like she doesn't want to be at her job and very abrasive with her words with the customers that order from the Taco bar. This woman has a "very ugly disrespectful attitude". A few times that I have ordered or one of my employees has ordered food at the taqueria counter. This female employee has been very disrespectful to "other employees" More than enough times I have actually heard her disrespect other employees when they have asked for something from her food station to other employees next to her. I find it very "disturbing"!that this person is even working the front counter in front of customers and is such a very disrespectful older lady I feel Management oversees this concern. I have another employee staff member that I'd like to bring up . There is another employee that myself and others have noticed that has a very dis-shoveled look about her . She's a heavyset woman with dark hair ponytail . That wears a baseball cap over her face . She has worked for the Company for sometime now She's in the sandwich bar usually sometime she is over the counter serving food to customers. I've noticed that she's been working there sometime I think they call her Mel "I think it short for Melissa or Melanie". A few times she is actually been at the counter taking orders. This employee Mel handles herself very sloppy personal bad hygiene that shouldn't be allowed to handle any food . I personally have heard her "cuss" saying the "F"word and burp's in front of customers as they are waiting for food. This female Employee is being disrespectful around two other employees and around customers. How she doesn't like her male boss and how she hates her job .. She's also been taking orders next to other employees that are taking orders and they have been having a open and blatant conversation about a Male employee that she dislikes. Then being very disruptive in front of customers over the counter pointing out to the other employees that the person that she's talking about is on the same counter and she cannot stand being next to him.. As a customer and someone who owns his own business . You have to ask yourself as a customer seeing this happen many times over shaking your head thinking why doesn't management see this or do anything to handle this inappropriate behavior . Once again as a longtime paying customer you do not want to hear this or be involved in the conversation . I find it very disruptive and very disgusting and very inappropriate that this female as I will not even call her a lady . How disruptive she is as an employee and how she's missed treating employees in front of other employees in front of customers explaining her feelings and interactions are being exploited over at the food counter in front of customers in Plain view. Any other company this would be considered a automatic termination . from what I have heard about this employee I've heard that she is a very disruptive person and a very dis-respectful and inappropriate employee. I think the Whole Foods team management or upper management. That handles kind of concern that this should be very much looked at and handled and looked for removal or replacement with this concerning issue about this employee or employees. Morning breakfast.. Whoever is the morning breakfast food cook is.. I would like to express that the eggs are rubbery , The quesadillas could be a lot better, the breakfast croissants have a style of hot sauce on them that shouldn't be added unless the customer wants it. The oatmeal is either to water down or to dry . The breakfast burritos I have five people that of been sick on the breakfast burritos. I personally refuse to ever eat one of those and I have told people to watch out for them because of how many people I know have been sick on them. Somehow I know there's a health code violations somewhere and I think if any more people get sick at Wholefoods / Amazon Newport beach food that someone should actually call the health department. Management . I don't know them personally but from what I've heard the GM is named "Bryan" he Controls the store from what I've seen in an overall The store looks good and clean. I have heard that if you are on this mans good side then he will knowledge you . And if you were on his bad side that pretty much he will find a way to have you removed slowly that information comes from other employees that I have actually talked with. To upper corporate Whole Foods New Port Management and Amazon management team. I think you really need to take a look into this store personally and other stores on how they are personally handled. I think you need to check out the employees and also listen to how employees feel and maybe have employees treat other employees with more respect and less mishandled issues. I think you need to look at supervisors and how they are miss handling customers and also how they miss handle employees. To Amazon fresh you spent $13 billion dollars creating a Health environment impact of employment by merging two companies . If this is one store having issues I wonder what the other stores are like as well.. I think you need to look into all of your stores including this one in Newport Beach Ca deeper and start cleaning the house If you want to succeed or stay with such a dysfunctional management team and thrive in business start listening to what is being said and stop ignoring everything being said and step up and see what customers are saying . Very concerned customer whom will keep posting more as he feels he should when it happens.

Whole Foods Market - Best customer service ever

I visited the whole foods in Montclair NJ 9/14/17 at 11:00am. I have never experience customer service the way this young man named Warren gave. It was my first time in the store he notice i was looking confused and asked if i need help, I dropped my pride and let him assist me. This guy had knowledge of all the merchandise, new where every thing i need on my list, still did his work, no sign of annoyed by helping even when some of my items was right in my face and helped with a smile the whole time. Service like that make me want to travel extra miles out my way for service like that. The whole store was helpful. U also like the way they acknowledge their employees. So kudos to the montclair management team for there excellent training and Warren keep up the good work you were awesome.

Whole Foods Market - Specials are never honored at till

Most times I buy something on special when you get to the till over 50% of the time the price is billed at the original price. This can not be an error as this has happened on many occasions. Once or twice you can understand but this has happened the last 5 times I have been there. Needless to say I am not stepping into the store again as had enough. This is surely on purpose as no one can be that incompetent. While I am not there to shop for specials, when one is offered and I want the product I expect the advertised price to be honored.

I shop at the Whole Foods in Chandler, AZ which I love, but it seems the last couple times I have shopped there they never have the Dairy products stocked.. Either the milk, or yogurt is ALWAYS out!.. So frustrating that I have to go elsewhere to shop for the simplest items..This happens too often... !... Those items are items are items that should always be in stock at all times. Sounds to me like ordering is not being done when needed. I can see once in while, but this happens to often. This is a very nice store to shop at, but always having items out of stock in not a good thing. Please keep your store stocked to keep us customers shopping there!
