I shop at Whole Foods often because it is very close to where I live, but I try to use great discretion in buying, since so many items are over priced. So, buyer beware - I'm OK with that. The quality is usually good. However, I have noticed a couple things lately that...

For several months now, Whole Foods forces customers to carry their (pricey) products in paper bags without handles. I deeply resent it. I have a long walk from the parking garage to my apartment and carrying anything, let alone groceries and breakable glass jars or...

Whole Foods Market - Your Holiday Commercial

3.4
Details
I love shopping at Whole Foods but your recent TV commercial leaves much to b desired....first of all....she is getting pastry with her BARE hands...SINGING into the cabinet of food (most ppl spit when they talk let alone sing) and her hair is hanging within food reach...not the standard in which whole foods conveys...the commercial is TOTALT unsanitary and not apealing..i havw never seen anyone in my whole foods store touch...talk or sling hair in or near OPEN food...i get the concept but the message is NASTY!!

I wish WF in Trolly Square would check their expiration dates on their frozen foods ..Perhaps all other items as well. I found frozen stuff that had expired 5 months ago and they are still try to sell it. DISGUSTING!

Whole Foods Market - Spoiled Food

Yesterday evening, October 20th, 2018 I bought 2 pieces of cooked chicken at the Tribeca Whole Foods, located on Warren Street. I only realized that it was a problem after I ate it. During the night I started having severe stomach cramps having to go the bathroom more than 10 times. Today I could hardly get up due to exhaustion and had 6 bathroom trips in the morning. This is the second time I got sick from your prepared food and the first time I am making a complaint. It is unacceptable that a company owned by Amazon, the richest corporation on the planet, able to hire the best cooks and food monitors available to make sure their prepared food is appropriate for consumption. The Health Department needs to monitor Whole Foods to make sure that the food is not contaminated, and prevent the public from becoming sick.

Yes I kind of agree. After the scoop up first big change to WF in this area was installation of "watering holes" and big screen tv catering to the jons.

At one they even put in a sushi bar run by swishy dude. The prices have dipped to compete with nearby stores. Like veggies are reasonably priced. But the clientele all tend to have this snob attitude.

Its just a food store! Groupies love WF and the tourists rush to WF as a "familiar landmark." So much for originality. Oh I almost forgot their 365 bread tastes awful. At Foggy Bottom their bread is stacked from frozen onto the rack and the bread bags are WET.

I had noticed moldy bread several times at this store too. And although the produce mgr did agree the 365 bread bags were all stacked up and WET they probably didnt do anything about it since it would require "extra time." Their 365 hamburger buns too salty.

Whole Foods Market - Lousy paper bags without handles

Just left Whole Foods and they have discontinued the handles on their paper bags. This is a major inconvenience for carrying them to my car and also into house when I get home. Anyone know if Sprouts has handles on their bags? I am going to check out my nearest Sprouts store to see. This every is a bad policy by Whole Foods/Amazon.

Jeff bezos can spend billions but you still use canola oil in prepared foods....known for causing several Health problems ie(kidney, liver, heart etc... this is terrible this place needs to be shut down until this is resolved. This is no health conscious store it’s no different than going to McDonald’s...I didn’t count the words is it 100 now.. we need to place this on the ballot

Whole Foods Market - Servers in Meat Department is very rude

October 2018, this has happened more than once: employees behind the meat counter are extremely unpleasant. They were NOT verbally abusive, but their facial expression and body language and tone of voice clearly wants you to know they think you are a nuisance and they wished you would just go away. It's not a case of someone simply having a bad day, I have received rude service from the same people several times. There are a couple of employees who are very helpful and very nice. I would like to see WF put up a board that customers can clearly see, where they will display the photo of their staff (board placed in each produce section) so that customers know who to complain or complement. A very helpful tool would be a camera with audio placed such that it can record the mannerism and tone of voice of their staff

We had a horrible experience with some shopper there who thought she should have both sides of the isles for shopping. We were there shopping next to a man who worked in the store who happen to be loading shelves with food during this time when some angry woman came barreling down the same lane we were in shopping which she proceeded to tell us to move aside that there happen to be two lanes, which at that time there was not two lanes only one for the reason a WF guy working there was loading shelves with food, and there was no place for us to move too a that moment, so this crazy whacked out woman starts griping and telling us to move out of her way and then in a much lower tone proceeds to tell us to get F - ed, but with the real 4 letter word starting with " F ".

Than some other maniac working there come along with a big broom and gets right behind us sweeping at our heals. Ok enough! we could no longer shop and decided to leave. I suppose the fiasco of this strange shopping event saved us at least 2 1/2 hundred dollars ( Which we always normally spend there) but this time we instead got the heck out of their crazy store.

What a horrifying experience to say the least.

I have always liked WF , but lately it seems as to be going down hill. Some of the people who work there and shop there have NO MANNERS, cough on produce and sample bagged food with their dirty filthy hands ( GROASE ) It seems to us no longer to be a very healthy environment to shop in, nor a good store for healthy living.
