Whole Foods Market - Watch those prices!

WFM employees are taught to 'engage the customer with light banter." You'll notice the cashiers usually say inane things like.. so, got big plans for the day...? There is a hidden agenda behind the "friendly" behavior, and it is the oldest *** in the book. It's distraction. If you care about money you spend, the friendly cashiering is really distracting you from the prices that ring up. I have caught WFM SEVERAL times, ringing up the wrong price - NEVER in my favor. Let me tell you, there is no apology from them. They hate being exposed for it.

Want to know the reason for this? Secret shops.

It's required that they do that if they want to get 100% on a secret shop.

If they they 100% on a secret shop, they get a free gift card.

Most people don't do this, because all it does is delay lines and *** off the people waiting.

I have only shopped WF over the last year in St. Louis, MO.

Same thing, distracting banter. Can't prove it but think checkout scale over weighs.

I stopped shopping there and now get bulk items from Dierbergs. Same brand, much lower price.

One black and one dumb Hispanic *** who kept asking me to repeat myself like ten times. I know they were bsing me because of the manner in which they kept asking me to repeat myself. Lunatics. I finally got mad And they seemed to get that. The rude dumb black *** Rodney was rude as heck. The Hispanic guy was rude. Both were jerks idiots. Finally I asked to speak to a female who heard me fine and had a brain. Whole foods employees some of them suck. Don't call to get info and get any of these braindead male Nitwits

Wholefoods hired to many welfare to work employees who are ghetto and don't care about quality foods! Wholefoods has gone down in their quality of products and services.

Most if not all of the Whole foods in the NYC area needs to either hire specialist in customer service or replace the hood rats that they have currently employed!

Wow - this post and comment could not be more ignorant. How dare you call a person retarded, and why was it important to note the race?

You should be ashamed of yourself for being an adult that thinks it's okay to use the term retarded to speak negatively of another person. Have some class. Also, sweeping generalizations aren't kind.

Someone's income doesn't mean they're more or less competent - or else your misuse of too vs. to would also put you in the same grouping of the "hood rats" you've decided aren't competent enough to work at a grocery store.

Carrageenan Products Review

They are suppose to be so careful about products they accept at Wholefoods. I am highly disappointed that they have products with Carrageenan. I guess I have to start reading every label. Wholefoods do your research.

Whole Foods Market - Lamb Sausage Review from Albuquerque, New Mexico

1.5
Details
We bought some in-store produced lamb sausage. When I cooked it the sausage shrunk to nothing because the fat and water seeped out of the casing - such a horrible product I can't believe Wholefoods sold it. It was so bad that it makes me believe someone in the store threw together the recipe to grab the Hispanic customer because it had the word lamb in it. I'll bet whoever came up with it never cooked it let alone ate it. Just Horrible - you should be ashamed. No wonder your stock is in the can.

You lost any credibility. Obviously it did not shrink to "nothing".

And you didn't post pics.

And everyone that knows lamb knows it is a fatty meat. And what the *** is your racist Hispanic remark about?

Whole Foods Market - Women's toilets are great for Peeping Toms and Janes in Orlando's Dr. Phillips

1.0
Details
For two months I have waged my own war with Whole Foods located at Dr. Phillips in Orlando. Florida. I have very nicely spoken to the managers four times asking that they repair the bathroom doors to close off the huge 2 inch views that people have when one is using the toilets. There are huge gaps at the doors - their response has been to attach black plastic directly to the door that has absolutely no overlap to cover the space - WHY BOTHER. As a regular shopper I need to know that I can use the bathrooms and not have fifty million tourists and others looking directly at me with their children peeking in when I am urinating. Women have different needs from men and these small bathrooms provide peeping Toms and Janes with way too much view - especially the handicapped toilets but the regular ones are just as bad. If you can't get something this fundamental right - why should I trust you to prepare my foods?

Whole Foods Market - Rudeness from an employee to a customer

I shopped 2/11/15 at 3 pm at Whole Foods in Bethesda, a very popular store with, on the whole, friendly & helpful staff. All went well until I checked out and paid in cash. My change due back was six dollars and eighty-two cents. The cashier had somehow balanced all the coins on a $5 and $l bill and presented the package to me. This is not a helpful way to do things. The customer has to somehow balance all those coins on 2 pieces of paper & something always rolls off. So I asked her to please give me the coins separately. She refused , telling me to pick them up out of her hand. When I tried to tell her that was the professional way to do things, she cut me off. She should be working at the Post Office, not in a customer friendly store, so-called.

I sure hope you didn't complain to customer service, because, if you did, that near-minimum wage worker who is required to work long irregular day, night and weekend hours and attend midnight or pre-dawn employee meetings was probably fired, or at least formerly disciplined, making it easier to be fired! That's how "customer friendly" Whole Foods Market treats their cashiers, and in the most humiliating way possible, after encounters with self-centered people like you.

Hahaha. Do you think you'll ever recover from the extreme injustice of the interaction? Hopefully you're in therapy to cope with your traumatic experience.

Get a real problem.

Grow up! A lot of cashiers hand the change back in the way you say the cashier did. Maybe you should have been extremely rude and insisted that she count it out to you too.

Whole Foods Market - Horrible place for women to shop

The employees are very rude, especially if your a women, they can harass you ! beware. the water machine is always out of service, do not waste your money. This company does not care about anything, especially not there customer. I had a horrible store experience. It was a nightmare, and there is no such thing as customer service, beware if you complain or are unhappy with something , you might get harassed by an employee. It is unbelievable, how do they get away with treated people so badly and being so rude. the food on the counter is sometimes expired and they give you a difficult time if you try to return something.

Being you aren't intelligent enough to stay home when you are REALLY SICK with the flu, you deserved the treatment you allegedly got. What makes you think you had the right to expose other people to the flu.

When a person is really sick and doesn't stay home is how other people become ill.

Use your head and stay home. Keep some canned soup on hand and then when you are sick you won't have to go shopping.

There are several rude Edina, MN store employees, but a middle-aged, rather stocky, dark-haired woman takes the cake. She is a hater. For no reason at all, she decides to hate women customers, makes up lies and gossip about complete strangers, and rudely turns her...

Ya know what? Since I'm feeling generous, here are two possible ways you can hurt this store: none of the cashiers tare the weight off things in bags (not cause they're told to, but because there is absolutely no training/standards/oversight), so there's your California lawsuit all over again if you want to do the legwork in getting the State to sue them.

Also, in addition to no training/standards/oversight, everyone in management gets there by kissing up and being a yes man. These people have no people skills in actually managing people and so the bottom level employees have all stopped believing in the company and could give a ***. You'll observe at least one health code violation if you're in there for 20 minutes. Bring a video camera, go there once a day, and at the end of the week you should have enough evidence for the Dept.

of Health to shut it down or at least wage a fine.

But like I said in a previous comment, the store does fine in keeping customers from returning by offering *** customer service. Store management is so clueless that even if you showed them this comment, they'd have no idea on how to correct the health code problems, and they'd have to fire every cashier and hire new ones to ensure tares got deducted.
