Ya know what? Since I'm feeling generous, here are two possible ways you can hurt this store: none of the cashiers tare the weight off things in bags (not cause they're told to, but because there is absolutely no training/standards/oversight), so there's your California lawsuit all over again if you want to do the legwork in getting the State to sue them.

Also, in addition to no training/standards/oversight, everyone in management gets there by kissing up and being a yes man. These people have no people skills in actually managing people and so the bottom level employees have all stopped believing in the company and could give a ***. You'll observe at least one health code violation if you're in there for 20 minutes. Bring a video camera, go there once a day, and at the end of the week you should have enough evidence for the Dept.

of Health to shut it down or at least wage a fine.

But like I said in a previous comment, the store does fine in keeping customers from returning by offering *** customer service. Store management is so clueless that even if you showed them this comment, they'd have no idea on how to correct the health code problems, and they'd have to fire every cashier and hire new ones to ensure tares got deducted.

I was given some cosmetic products as a gift & I wanted to return them (unopened) to your store. Your walnut creek store told me I needed a receipt. I went to the San Francisco store where it was purchased & was given store credit which I was greatly appreciated and is great customer service since I am a regular customer. I do not understand the difference in store policy. I would like an explanation. I believe you should inform your WC store that customer service is important & they need to comply with other store's policy. Walnut creek is not an area in which they need to have a receipt policy & I cannot understand why this is so. Please let me know as I am planning to return items to them since I will be getting gifts from your store for the holidays. So I know NOT to return them to my local store in walnut creek and have to travel out of my way to return things.

I would like to file a complain the whole foods stuff at Arden Way Sacramento California Her name Claudia French She is so rude as a Customer she don't have to be rude and kicking costumer out . If the costumer want to try tester on the make up department it is not right as a customer and costumer felt bad using teste to test before buying the products ... First off the grammar is so bad I can barely understand what this complaint is about. From what I can make out you are upset because Whole Foods kicked you out for testing out cosmetic products.

Let me explain something, cosmetics are used on your body, which means you need to touch the applicator to a part of your body. Parts of your body that may have infections, fungus, rashes, disease, and many other maladies (bad things). So if somebody before you used that applicator to test the product and has an eye infection that means YOU now have an eye infection.

That's gross. And that is why Whole Foods kicked you out and rightly so, because they don't want people spreading health issues by trying out cosmetics.

Whole Foods Market - Shopping bag credit

I shopped this morning at the Whole Foods - 15th & Montana in Santa Monica, Ca.Since Santa Monica outlawed plastic bags, customers are required to purchase paper bags or purchase recycled shopping bags. I generally purchase paper bags and usually all my marketing requires the paper bags to be double bagged. Since I have so many of these paper bags, I reuse them for my shopping at Whole Foods in Santa Monica. Today, I brought into the store 2 double bagged shopping bags. The cashier only credited me for 2 single bags or 20 cents - I should have received credit for 4 paper bags. I argued with the cashier that Whole Foods wouldn't hesitate to charge me for double bagged paper bags so I should receive the same credit! Whole Foods should credit credit customers accordingly!! I entered the store at 10:15 a.m. Saturday morning. The florist booth was empty. The vegetable aisle was empty. There was no staff around. The customer service desk was empty. I was unable to ask a question about a bunch of roses I had been interested in, so I skipped purchasing it. I went to the breakfast bar (again, at 10:15 a.m.) and all of the trays had only remnants of eggs, bacon, etc. There was an elderly lady in a store wheelchair, with her head under the sneeze guard, pawing at the food in the trays disconsolately. She drooled a little. I looked around, but there was no one there to report to that this was very unsanitary, and probably a violation of health codes. I bought some buns at the bakery, and after checking out, asked the cashier to whom I could make a suggestion. She said, "Customer Service." I pointed out that "customer service" was a misnomer, as that booth was empty. She pointed out someone she said was the manager, a short dirty blond woman with bangs and a pony tail sitting at a picnic table near the exit to the store. I approached this woman and said, "Good morning. I would like to make a suggestion. Are you the right person?" She stared at me. I took this as "interest" if not engagement, and since she was wearing a Whole Foods name tag (I did not get her name, sorry), I proceeded to make my suggestion. I said, "You know, the breakfast bar is virtually empty ... every tray ... you might consider keeping it open a little later on the weekends." Her answer, "We close breakfast at 10." I said, "I realize that, but since it is sold out and it is not yet 10:30, you might consider keeping it open a little later on the weekends." She answered, "We close breakfast at 10." All she had to say was "Thank you, we'll consider your suggestion." Instead, she indicated to me a) that she did not care what I said and b) that no changes would be made, regardless of what a customer suggests. I remember when this store opened, it was packed from opening to well after closing. The parking lot was jammed all weekend. Now, the store is empty. The management was surly and unresponsive to a customer. The buffet was a frightening and frankly nauseating unsupervised free-for-all of people tainting the near-empty food trays. There were boxes stacked in the aisles. Half the stations were unstaffed, and the only people who seemed engaged were the cashiers. This is a management problem. If you continue to operate this Savannah store like this, you will fail. Why would anyone pay a premium price to be treated like this?

I received an email about this issue from Whole Foods (the store, not the corporation) and they indicated that they had spoken to the "manager" I encountered above.

I visited the store again last week (first time in three months) and the conditions had deteriorated further. Not only was the place empty, dirty, and disorganized (the butcher area smelled of deceased fish and spoiled meat!), but the staff were more interested in clowning with each other than dealing with the customers.

I had to wait 12 minutes to get a pie cut in two (I know, a very technical job).

Again, why would anyone pay these prices to be treated like this? Is Savannah full of rich masochists?

GMA & George Stephanopolous announced this morning that the Feds fined Whole Foods $800,000 so far for cheating customers an average of 10% on each shopping trip! Cashiers are over-weighing produce (the old thumb on the scale scam), short-changing customers, overcharging on as many items as they can, and more. We are well aware of Whole Foods price gouging scams. And when we catch them and complain, they verbally attack, sneer and insult us. Whole Foods employees are dishonest scammers, *** artists and thieves! And the Federal Government has proved it! We are so glad the Federal Government is finally investigating and fining Whole Foods nationwide!

when they are told to do something wrong they have to do it even fudge numbers and if you really want to know that building is full of rats,they are so big they just stand there and look at you .*** we run,find them stanking,they eat the bread.pee on it and they have rat traps all through the store,finding them mostly in bakery and prepared food,also they mistreat their black workers,hire there friends and put them in management position with no experience make them use bad food,to tell the truth most of the employees in the kitchen,no gloves taste food with their hands and use same gloves to finish mixing,hands on private parts,front and back and keep going like nothing happens,if you tell anything they will hold it against you,I know because I have been with them in Memphis for over 13 years.The ones that do most of the work hours get cut and the ones do less I mean less work gets morer hours.Never have never work for a company that the boss walks around using the N word and telling other employees to treat the blacks like slaves.This comes from a devoted employee in Memphis

Never had a problem at any Whole Foods with customer service/cleanliness/stocked shelves. The one in Buckhead Atlanta is particularly awesome. I will say this: if you do have a problem with an individual store, Corporate will tell you directly and smugly that they allow each store to operate as it's own entity, to which a friend of mine who actually had a customer service problem, begged the question "then what is the point of having a Corporate office"?

Whole Foods Market - Highest prices, worst customer service

Our local TV stations ran comparison prices on all major local food stores. Whole Foods has the highest prices of all. And so many people are now avoiding the Edina, MN Whole Foods, because the store employees are so rude. It is not a pleasant shopping experience. Wanting good quality food, and being selective about choices, we dislike the store employees following us around sneering, making crude comments and insults, to the point they are being videotaped and a class action lawsuit is being considered. There are now many people documenting Whole Foods' employees misconduct toward customers. Store employees have no defense against their misconduct, as many people have been videotaping them "in action." So, shoppers beware. Edina, MN Whole Foods has the highest prices on food, as documented on TV. And Edina, MN Whole Foods has the worst customer service, as documented/recorded by customers.

I went to this Whole Foods store with two very nice AmEx and Visa gift cards, which I intended to spend. But, looking around the store with its outrageously high prices, it was hard to make selections.

When I had just about chosen things for one of the cards, that terribly rude, abusive tall guy started showing up every time I turned a corner, sneering at me, telling me not to come back to the store, and calling me names.

There is no excuse for Whole Foods having such perverted, obviously elder and women hating men on its payroll.

Needless to say, I left the store without spending my two nice gift cards at Whole Foods, and I will never shop there again.

Whole Foods lost my business that day, and every shopping day from now on.

I predict the Edina, MN Whole Foods will not stay in business more than another year or so.

The store personnel are just too hostile, sociopathic and abusive.

And the prices are the highest in the Twin Cities area. It's just not worth it.

Benjamin Auerbach, Kit Shelton, Rachelle Peterson and John Parker are listed as "Team Leaders" and "Associate Team Leaders" for the Edina, MN Whole Foods Market.

Any and all abuse of customers should be reported to the Whole Foods Corporate Offices.

And, shoppers beware: an African American woman cashier is loudly and crudely trying to CHARGE customers for any sample that she and the store personnel see a customer eating! She says they are stealing and eating food! Her lying and slandering customers has been video recorded numerous times, and they will be included in the lawsuits against the store.

Again, customers are encouraged to bring their cell phones and other video recording devices when shopping at the Edina, MN Whole Foods. Any abuse should be reported not only to corporate offices, but also to the police.

Shoppers beware, always be on alert for "ambushing" and abusing store personnel. They will try to shock and scare senior citizens into having a heart attack and dying. And that is attempted murder!

Oh yes, we've noticed that rude black cashier trying to overcharge us. She is openly nasty to all white women, and is gloating that Auerbach encourages her in her fraud and verbal abuse of customers.

If we ever go back--which we doubt, as we spend our money where we are appreciated as customers--we will definitely record all abuse, as suggested.

Whole Foods has over 3,000 customer complaints listed on the Internet, and a long history of treating customers very badly.

The prices are too high--way out of line--and store personnel are very low caliber. It is not worth shopping at Whole Foods.

If you want to shop there, do your shopping and be done with it. I have a hunch this is the same person who posted previously or one of their cohorts, trying to make trouble for a store, just because the employees don't treat them like royalty.

When I shop, that is what I do, I shop and get it over with and get home, to heck with what the employees are talking about.

Grow a thicker skin and get on with life. Life is too short to worry about little things like this.
